MEMBERSHIP DUES & TERMS

At the time of signing and submitting the Membership Agreement, the member authorizes Le Malt to charge their credit card for the full payment of club fee. Membership dues will be charged the day of the executed agreement. All fees and dues are subject to current New Jersey sales tax. All memberships are minimum for one (1) Year.

Membership dues are charged yearly and cannot be paid monthly. Upfront yearly payments are according to the membership dues pricing schedule.

Completion and submission of the Membership Agreement also authorizes Le Malt to charge subsequent membership renewal fees, unless member cancels their membership in writing with at least thirty (30) days advance notice of their renewal date. The renewal date is one year from the date the original Membership Agreement was signed and dated.

CANCELLATION POLICY

All membership fees & dues are final. Members have the right to forfeit their membership for the current year of membership, but understand that all dues, including membership charges, will not be refunded. Any membership cancellation notification will be put into effect for the following year of membership. Le Malt retains the right to modify, suspend or cancel a member’s membership at any point with a written notice via email to member’s registered email address. During membership suspension or cancellation, any future membership fees, dues or charges will be put on hold or cancelled at the discretion of Le Malt.

RENEWAL OPT-OUT POLICY

Membership dues are automatically charged on the anniversary date of the member’s original join date, or revised expiration date based on any modifications to membership. Renewal opt-out requests must be received at least thirty (30) days prior to the membership expiration date.

PAYMENT FOR CHARGES FOR OTHER GOODS AND SERVICES

Member has provided Le Malt with its credit card for the purpose of paying for goods and services, which Member may purchase at Le Malt. These other charges may include fees for event charges, and food and beverage items. Member recognizes and agrees that Le Malt will maintain this information in its files and acknowledges Le Malt’s right to charge the credit card. A 2.9% credit card fee will be applied to all credit card charges for membership dues, initial fees and dine-in checks.

UNPAID BALANCES

Member is obligated to pay any collection and/or legal costs incurred by Le Malt for collection of any fees and/or charges. Le Malt reserves the right to charge balances and overdue balances to their current card on file.

DRESS CODE

All members and their guests recognize their understanding of the “upscale casual” dress code. Le Malt reserves the right to deny admission to any members or their guests if their attire is not in accordance with club standards. Hats, slippers and shorts will not be allowed.

PRIVATE LOCKERS

Each member will be designated a private secure humidified locker for their personal use. Member agrees not to store any illegal products/items in their lockers, and acknowledges that doing so will be grounds for immediate termination of membership and all membership rights and forfeiture of any and all rights/claims to a refund of membership fees. Further, Member hereby agrees to indemnify Le Malt for any liability and legal fees incurred by Le Malt as a result of such illegal storage and/or activity. Le Malt reserves the right to access without notice any private locker for the purpose of maintenance, inspection, and/or in the event there is risk of damage to property.

VALUABLES & PERSONAL PROPERTY

Le Malt shall not be liable for the loss of, or theft of, or damage to, the personal property of members or guests, including items left on club premises, with the coat check or elsewhere in the Club.

AGE REQUIREMENT FOR ENTRANCE

Member acknowledges that no guests are permitted on club premises that are under the age of twenty-five (25). Members seeking to bring guests under the age of twenty-five (25) onto club premises must contact Le Malt staff for consideration.

BRING YOUR OWN BOTTLE

Le Malt Royale is a ‘Bring Your Own’ establishment so we encourage you to bring your selections of wine or spirits to consume during your stay at the club. For your convenience, we also offer the option for you to purchase wines & spirits through Wine Chateau. Le Malt reserves the right to refuse service for any members who bring open containers or any kind of alcohol.

SMOKING PRIVILEGES

Members and their guests are only allowed to smoke and light up their own cigars or cigars bought at the Club. The use of any other substances including marijuana are strictly prohibited within premises of the entire club.

MEMBER RESERVATION GUIDELINES

  • Member acknowledges the following policies and understands that Le Malt reserves the right to modify these policies at any time.

  • Members may bring up to 7 guests for dining at The Parlor with a reservation. No additional guests fees are charged in The Parlor. Members may bring up to 2 guests in The Saloon (cigar lounge) or 7 guests if dining at The Parlor. Additional guests in The Saloon are charged $50.00 per visit.

  • We recommend advance reservations for the dining room (The Parlor), and the cigar lounge (The Saloon).

  • Any modifications to reservations, including time changes, guest increases or decreases, dietary restrictions, must be confirmed in advance with Le Malt staff.

  • A member may reserve the entire club for a private event. Management will ensure not to reserve the entire club for more than two nights per month.

  • Member must be present in order for guests to enter the club and receive all the perks. If the member exits the club during that stay, the accompanying guests may enjoy the services of the club excluding access to the member locker and member account.

TEMPORARY CLOSURES

If temporary closure is due to internal maintenance, construction, city ordinance, federal government restrictions or act of God, memberships or monthly dues will not be put on hold or be suspended during club closure days. If closure is permanent, past dues & fees that were paid will not be refunded and all memberships will be suspended. Subject to update at any time.

BEHAVIOR MISCONDUCT

Le Malt reserves the right to terminate the membership of, and/or enact immediate dismissal from club premises for any person(s), members or guests, or any additional joint members on their account, engaging in any of the following types of behavior:

  • Illegal, or unlawful, behavior of any kind.

  • Offensive social misconduct including but not limited to inappropriate levels of intoxication; lewd and disrespectful vocal abuse to other members, guests and staff, inappropriate sexual advances of any kind to other members, guests and staff; aggressive and irrational behavior of any kind.

  • Guests unaccompanied by a member, or otherwise noted on member’s guest list.

  • Additional guests not included in the total number of allotted guests per member.

  • Members are responsible for their guests’ conduct. Any breaches of the above mentioned behaviors by member’s guests are grounds for that member’s membership termination.

TRANSFER OF MEMBERSHIP

Membership is non-transferable.

EMAIL & OTHER COMMUNICATION

Members and their guests agree to receive periodic emails or paper communication from Club management either to their email address or mailing address provided on the membership agreement.

MEMBER’S OBLIGATIONS

Member shall not be relieved of Member’s obligations to make payments agreed to, and no deduction from any payments shall be made because of the Member's failure to use the Club’s facilities. Member dues are for the period of time and are no way related to actual usage of the Club.

MODIFICATIONS

Le Malt retains the right to modify, suspend or cancel a member’s membership at any point with a written notice via email to member’s registered email address. During membership suspension or cancellation, the future membership fees and dues will be put on hold or cancelled at the discretion of Le Malt. Le Malt retains the right to modify membership, events, and perks at any point. Le Malt retains the right to authorize members’ card on file to be charged for any said modified fees. Le Malt retains the right to modify any section of this contract and revise policy at any time. Any modifications of this agreement will be notified to members via email or posted to website, prior to exacting those changes.

WAIVER OF LIABILITY

Members and their guests assume full responsibility for their use of the facility and website and releases Le Malt from any and all claims, including those caused in whole or in part, by the negligence of Le Malt and shall indemnify Le Malt, the owners, its affiliates, agents and employees against any and all liability arising out of the use of the facilities and website.

PRIVACY POLICY

Le Malt Royale is committed to protecting the privacy and accuracy of confidential information to the extent possible, subject to provisions of state and federal law. Other than as required by laws that guarantee public access to certain types of information, or in response to subpoenas or other legal instruments that authorize access, personal information is not actively shared. In particular, we do not re-distribute or sell personal information collected on our web servers.

ENTIRE AGREEMENT

This contract constitutes the entire and exclusive agreement between the parties relating to the subject matter hereto and supersedes any oral or written understanding. This contract only may be modified in writing executed by a duly authorized representative of Le Malt. Employees are not authorized to make any independent agreements with any Member. If any provision or portion of this Agreement or the application thereof to any person or party or circumstances shall be invalid or unenforceable under applicable law, such event shall not affect, impair, or render invalid or unenforceable the remainder of this Agreement. By completing the Member Agreement, I am officially finishing my membership application. I am under no financial or legal obligation to Le Malt until I sign and date the Membership Agreement.
